Frontier Virtual Airlines has established a clear path for our Pilots to achieve certain ranks based on flight hours and points received on PIREPS they submit. This simulated the career progression of a real pilot.

Rank Transfers

In order to maintain a level of competitivity with other airlines, we have decided to establish a Rank Transfers Policy.
It is up to the person requesting the Rank Transfers to provide sufficient evidence to justify their transfers. For more information, please contact us at help@frontier-va.com.

Members of a current Frontier VA

If you are actively a member of a current Frontier Virtual Airline, the following applies to you:
We will transfer over your total flight hours within that VA, plus an additional 10 Hours. 
We will transfer over your total PIREP points within that VA, plus an additional 1,500 points.
We will match your current rank within that VA, except for Staff roles which will obtain the equivalent rank to their Flight Hours and Points.

Members of defunct Frontier VA (Airways Alliance)

If you are a past member of Airways Alliance Frontier Virtual Airline, the following applies to you:
  • If you have a proof of your flight hours:
    • We will match the total flight hours from that VA.
  • If you do not have a proof of your flight hours:
    • Provide us with an approximate number of flight hours, we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis.
There will not be any PIREP points given.
Pilots Rank will depend on the amount of Flight Hours that we have recognized. They can be promoted up to Senior First Officer.

Members of a different Virtual Airline (vAMSYS)

If you are a member of any other Virtual Airline that operated of vAMSYS.
We will recognize your total amount of flight hours within that VA up to 100 Hours.
There will not be any PIREP points given.
Pilots Rank will depend on the amount of Flight Hours that we have recognized. They can be promoted up to First Officer.

How to apply for a Rank Transfer?

All rank transfer requests must be submitted either via our Email or by opening a ticket on the Helpdesk. Make sure to put in all the information and evidence in your request. Our Staff will review your application and contact you within 72 hours.
Make sure to provide all the information, failure to do so may result in additional delays.
